Why does he still want to be friends? He leaves text messages saying that he misses me and asks me how i'm doing. Does he still have feelings? I still have feelings for him, but they aren't as strong as they were when we first broke up (a month ago).

Sometimes an ex can make a better friend than a lover. I consider an ex to be a friend even though he treated me very badly when we were living together. But he always treated his friends well. When he quit drinking he realized how mean he was to me and he apologized. We will never get together again but I know he's there if I ever need anything.

Here's a guy's viewpoint. He's messing with your head and trying his luck. What he's missing is regular and appreciative sex. But he's already cheated on you so it's fair to assume that he'll only do it again. Keep your distance, it's the only thing a man like him will respect. Find someone else who deserves your feelings (they are out there). Good luck.

He wants to mess with your head.
He has feelings to get back intimately with you.
Then it will be the same thing over again.
Except you will loathe him,because you fell for it.
But not the 3rd time.

ps I doubt that he could be your true friend even.
Get someone you can rely on.

me and my ex went through the same thing,cept he cheated on me and asked me to come to church on purpose so i would see them together....basicaly he is probably just wanting to play mind games with you,to see if you still care about him only because that will make his ego go up more,if he cheated on you,and yall broke up,i doubt he wants to get back together,he just wants to play games

listen if he cheated on you betraying you and the realtionship why would you even want to give him a second thought... if he gets to close to you agian he could hurt you agian, why put yourself through that

I had a ex b/f do me that way and he only wanted me around for sex when he couldn't get it from anyone else. Tell him no or he will keep hurting you.

he wants to have sex with you, while still being able to date (and have sex with) other chicks. don't let him have his cake and eat it too. if your feelings for him have already diminished, tell him that you're moving on, and friendship is too soon right now.
