When you serve on your weekend, you will most often get paid for what is called a MUTA-4. That means you get paid for four drills over the weekend. Sometimes, you will have a MUTA-5, where you are at the weekend longer.

I have attached a link for the military pay table, and on page 7, you will see the rates for drill pay. Then you will be able to calculate your annual salary.

Active duty National Guard will get paid (as I do) the same as regular force pay chart notes, which are at;
http://www.militaryfactory.com/military_pay_scale.asp

The link or chart for weekend warrior and two week per year annual training (traditional guard) pay is here;
http://www.armytimes.com/content/static/mon/2005_year_inthe_reserve.html
This will vary on rank attained within the year, sign on bonuses, how many drills one actually attends, etc. A drill weekend is divided into Military Unit Training Assemblies (MUTA) and there are two per drill day. Working a full Saturday and Sunday would be a MUTA 4, and gross pay for an E5 with over 8 years of service would be about $350.00. E1 with less than 1 year time in service drill pay is about $112.00 for a MUTA 4 (I think). I believe the pay scale for Guard and Reserve component for all branches is the same. These are the 2006 scales. The 2007 scales should be out soon and should reflect about a 3.7% cost of living increase.
Cheers

Take the shown monthly pay and divide it my 30 days to find out how much they make per day. Guard and reserves get paid for how many days they report in for duty.

So yes, if they work a full month they get paid the same as active duty.

National Guard people get aproximately 4 days of pay for working a weekend. 2 week annual training they get 2 wks pay and benefits. If they happen to get mobilized then they get full military pay while on active duty.

This site has complete pay scales for Guard and Active duty. To see Guard, look for "Drill" pay. This is the complete pay scale for all ranks. Has everything you'll want to know.

My brother is in a US service, he went in enlisted, and he gets paid about two grand/month (24,000/year). My fiancee is going into a service through a program, and he'll be getting paid 2300/month (28,000/year) because of his engineering experience and college. I hope this helps! OH! And the more people who join and put you as their reference, you make more/month because of it!
