I don't think that it is the outword appearance that makes a person beautiful. It is the caring, and the kindness and the ability to make others feel important beyond themself. The old saying that beauty is only skin deep is true. Beauty comes from within.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the deep, meaningful type of beautiful or aesthetic beauty.
Research shows that aesthetic beauty is related to two things. The first is symmetry. For instance, having eyes, ears, etc spaced equally, having hips be in proportion to waist, etc.
The second goes back to our cave days. Attractive men tend to be fit, tall, muscular, with strong jaws and no visible defects. This is because a cavewoman would look for a good hunter and protector, who would typically have these qualities.
Cavemen looked for cavewomen who would make good childbearers. This includes plentiful hips and breasts, clear skin, etc.
Not sure if this was the direction of your question...but here it is anyway:-)

There are two parts to beauty: the external and the internal. Of course it is all completely subjective. There is the form, vision and attractiveness in the one you are viewing. The internal architecture is the other part. This includes what they read, listen to, their story and what they find beautiful and place around them.

Their inner soul, the beauty they radiate, in their spoken and unspoken words. Their etiquette, style, openness, sense of humor, charisma, character, perseverance, love of God, their moral and spiritual virtues, but, the greatest of all is love, for God is pure love, and the person who loves God loves himself and all others.
