My yorkie has peeing on the puppy pad down pact, but she will not do number 2 on them. I have tried catching her in the act and moving her to the pad to finish, but she just does not get it. I've tried putting it on the pad so she can see it is okay for it to be there, but then she just ignores that pad until the poop is gone. Rewarding her worked fantastic while training her to pee, but she won't do number 2 on the pad so I can't reward her for this. What can I do to make her get the point. She stays at home while I'm at work and I am tired of coming home to poop on the kitchen floor.

Then confine her and take her outside when you get home.

You have to go back to potty training 101 - leave her in her crate until she makes # 2 on the pad - not # 2 no freedom - eventually if you donot allow her to have any freedom until she makes, she will eventually make on the pad if that is the only place you allow her to go besides her crate. Just like when you were teaching her to make pee - if she did not pee, she did not get any freedom to play or run around - you have to be even more strict with training her to make # 2 - it will take some time but if you do not give in and do not allow her any freedom except on this pad and then in he crate - she should eventually get it - no freedom until she makes and you will be successful

okay well first take her out and get her to poop before you leave for work or don't leave her food out all day. Just keep trying to catch her in the act and take her to the pad to finish and after she finishes on the pad reward her immediatly with a cookie or treat. Don't give up it took me like 6 months to potty train my dog.

Why not just train the dog to go to the bathroom outside, ask to go outside, etc.. as opposed to teaching it that it's OK to go to the bathroom in the house?

As for while you're at work, crate train the dog, they will try their hardest not to go to the bathroom on themselves while they're in their crate.

PUT A PAD WHERE SHE POOPS THE MOST OR BUY MORE PADS IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY.
