A few people have claimed that I am calling the Religion & Spirituality section of Yahoo! Answers a 'Christian chat room'. I think you need to read the question again, and not make assumptions.

And more people are claiming that I am against non-Christians hanging out in Christian chat rooms... it's just a question people! How can you claim that I am bashing non-Christians with a question as clear as this?

Some of them are there to antagonize, probably, but then there are others, too, who just like to engage in such discussion despite their own views being different...and no, they're not always trying to convert anyone, either.

Why do Christians love to hang out at non-Christian chat locations?

Please do me the favor of pointing out where it says this is a Christian website. I can't seem to find that written anywhere.

If you think that "Religion & Spirituality" only refers to "Christianity," then you are gravely mistaken, very ignorant, and extraordinarily narrow-minded. However, if you are referring to something entirely different, you should clarify so people would not be confused.

Either way, the highways of the Internet are open to members of every religion.

they are geting the message even if it is in dout the seed is planted maby that is all that is needed.
maby they are hear for a reason that even they dont understand the are reaching out and you slap them and tell them that they are not good enouph to be in the same chat room with you.

Do you mean non-religious and religious chat locations. Christianity is not the only religion. And also if us non-believers were given our own location on yahoo answers we could discuss our opinions and thoughts there. But, I guarantee you that religious and especially christians will be there criticizing us.

To annoy! Just kidding...

I hang out in the Religion & Spirituality section because I like hearing other people's beliefs. I also like to challenge people to THINK...not just blindly follow what they have been told.

Probably the same reason that every time there is a science news article about evolution, that the corresponding message board becomes SWAMPED with christian fundamentalists.

I'm sorry, I must have missed the memo where they changed this section from "Religion & Spirituality" to "Christians Only Chatroom"

Or is it that you think christians have cornered the market on religion & spirituality?

Well, it is an open forum...I just wonder about the relevance of some of the questions asked.

Because atheists don't think like theists, and we want to hear both sides of the issue (about God, and other Godly things)
