degree , the only place a double diploma is helpfull is if it is an applied science field where a specialisation in 2 fields makes one highly skilled but these fields are tough to come across.
So go for the degree

Generally you receive a diploma when you get a degree.

My cousin got her dual lisenceship in secondary education AND in special ed K-12. She taught special ed (behavioral disorder) for 7 years. But now with the no child left behind act, they are doing away with special ed. Now the other special ed teachers are getting phased out (kinda sitting in with other teachers almost like just an aide). My cousin was able to teach on her own in her own classroom because she was also licensed in secondary ed.
