Hi. I'm in the process of gaining weight. Have been a skinny person for 25 years; currently 128lbs - 5'8 tall. I have started going to swimming frequently - 4 times a week just to tone my body. In the mean time, I'm eating regularly as well as drinking the ensure protein drink that comes in a small bottle twice a day. One after lunch, and one before bed. Am I drinking too much? I'm afraid supplement overdose will cause health problem.

I take them too but not as often. If you are not eating properly like real daily meals then its find, I would think. The worse that might happen is that some of the goodness might go to waste since your body system can only take so much.

You could do what bodybuilders do and buy the protein to add muscle mass then you don't have to worry about vitamin overdose. Soy protein is good for the heart too.
