So our 8th grade class is split up into 2 teams, which have different teachers and are split up. And guess what!? I'm on the team with all the popular and annoying people why'll all my friends are on the other team. How can I get along with these people...like sitting together at lunch, and having classes together. It's sad because I now feel like I have no friends...

Well, you can try talking to a counselor and asking to be switched to the other team, but don't hold your breath. Just because you aren't with your friends doesn't sound like a great argument. Try looking at it as practice for when you head off to college or get a job and are surrounded with new faces. Practice your social skills and get to meet some new friends.
Plus what about before and after school, phone, e mail, im, sports teams, games,and weekends? Who says you can't hang out with your old friends? Look at it this way, you will have a whole different set of kids and teachers to yak about. You won't have to tell the same old story that everyone else has already listened to a 100 times. Be observant, soak up funny and interesting stories. Be a spy, you will be the first of your group to spot the new hottie who transfers into your school and pass the word along to your friends. Treat this as an adventure, not a death sentence.

I'm really sorry. That sucks! Try to have an open mind about it. Maybe the people in your team aren't that bad. Sometimes one group of people can paint another group up to be so horrible when really they are similiar to you. Try talking to them and maybe with time they will include you in their group of friends. You can still do stuff with your other group of friends. Always know that if they are true friends they will stick by your side through everything!

You don't have a choice. It goes the same way in the corporate world. Your objective is to figure out to persuade them (the popular and annoying people) to like you, so you won't feel so isolated and alone.
Whenever you are able to be with your friends, make a run for it, immediately!!!

Just get along with everybody. You'll make new friends, as annoying as they may be. I'm 29, so this may sound stupid for your age, but the more contacts you have in life, the better chances you have at being successful. Good Luck!!!!

Ewww I feel sorry for you. I honestly don't know, you could actually try to fit in with them, or you could just get everyone in your group a NintendoDS and talk to each other on the chatrooms in there during lunch and/or breaks.

just like that, try and get along. You cannot go on living talking only to the people you like or have interests similar to yours, and it will help you tons in your personal growth if you meet new, different people. Try by saying hi and introducing yourself, and you'll be amazed by how easy it is to talk to new ppl.

Just be thier friends. No need for change of style or attitude. Just be thier friends. Labeling makes everything G A Y . Dont label them, they could be nice people.

how did you become friends with your old friends? that is what you will have to do to make new friends. why is your class split up into two groups?
