I would try washing them with dish soap in luke warm water. Make sure all of the butter is out before you put them in with the regular wash. Regular detergent should wash it out, but I wouldn't want to take the chance of a little butter getting into the dryer. Dawn is a very mild soap with an excellent degreaser.

A degreaser like dish detergent may work. There are stain removers that will take the grease out.

I use goo gone . it's a degreaser found in the automotive section of any wall mart. soak it and let it set . then pour some detergent straight on it and let that sit . then rub and wash as usual.

Use "dawn" dishwash. Remeber. "Dawn gets the greese out" once done, use whatever laundry detergent you use to get the smell of dawn out. Good luck
