i met him at this program. me and him would always sneak off and go places but i didnt take it as us tryin to get some alone time together. he claims that i like him and when i tell him i dnt he just think that im being shy or whateva wht do i do

Tell him you just like to flirt for fun, and aren't into him in that way. Or, if you don't want to be blunt, just quit leading him on. He might be more confused at first with the second approach, but he'll get the message.

There's no easy way out of this. Just let him know that as a friend he makes you feel comfortable enough to be yourself when your around him, but that you don't see your relationship with him as something more. After this, back off gently.

Wow, this will be really hard. What I personally suggest is that you try to be someone that person WON'T like, that way they think it's their ownself who doesn't like you, or you could just tell him (are you sure he feels that way, you might find yourself in an embarrasing pickle).
