usually that doesnt work all that well. your beans will come out chunky and not ground right...it probably wont damage your blender, but i think youll be better off with a "magic bullet" to grind coffee beans.

Blenders are for blending. You can grind whatever you want in it. Better to use a proper coffee grinder though or grind it at the store.

I wouldn't use the blender. Coffee grinders are not very expensive and can be found in many stores. Also you can grind your coffee for free at the grocery store. Good luck.

No-you will trash it in a hurry if you try. You can get coffee bean grinders for about 15 dollars at most stores, or even for a couple of dollars at thrift stores. An immersion blender is great, but not for ice or coffee.

i think it really depends what blender you have but coffee beans aren't as hard as ice, for example and most bleneders can grind ice so you should be fine.

Buy a coffee maker, it will probably break your blender. I wouldn't try it unless you plan on replacing your blender.

Unless you put a lot in there I don't think the blades go that far to the bottom.
Hell if your dieing for a cup of Joe I guess you could grind them into the pavement outside.
