How much older? That's the big difference. Also, your social situation matters. I'm in my early 20s now, but when I was in high school, very few seniors dated freshmen, for example, because it was a really big school and the upperclassmen didn't know the underclassmen. When I was in 10th grade I kind of liked and 8th grader but we didn't date because it crossed middle school/high school lines, which was weird. Yet I know 12th graders that dated 10th graders, no problem. There are of course high schoolers whose boyfriend/girlfriend has gone off to college, and that's normal. Anything more than about 3 yrs difference starts to get weird, though, and possibly illegal depending on the details and where you are!

for me i think that it is a good thing becasue they are more mature and that if you two have a problem it will be much easier to solve because maybe your partner already been through this problem and it will be easier.
