It's a survival instinct. We have to be dominant or we will be thought a sucker. It's been drilled into our heads, our hearts, our very genes! First, you are used to feeling good when you are right. Then, you have parents who always want you to be right. At school you get marks for being right. You are supposed to be more intelliegent if you are usually right.
But as we grow up, we evolve into honest beings who are honest with themselves. Those who can't admit their mistakes, have to just grow up.

As hard as it is i do admit when I'm wrong.But i absolutely refuse to ask where something is when i go to the Wal-mart super center after a safari hunt..

First, I have known far, far more women in my life who would NEVER admit they are wrong than I have know men.
Also, women seem to cling to men who are bullish and proud of always being right. You should find more men who can fix their mistakes rather than someone who thinsk they are always right.

well.being as it happens so seldom,admittting that it has happened is something that is very hard to do because it takes experience and we don't get much. lol what a foolish question. It is something that I am sure is not gender related.

Because it makes him look weak to you. Ego has a great deal to do with it too......the more mature they get, they will admit their wrongdoing....until then....don't hold your breath!
