Yes I do, there are times when I am worried or upset, I can still feel my mother's hand on my shoulder giving me strength.

If you belive that the Bible is the word of God and not just written by men then the answer to your question is ...no!
Here are the scriptural references you can look up in your own Bible. Eccl.9:5 Psalms 146:4 John 11:11-14 Ezek. 18:4

NO, they are gone. If you feel any connection or comfort at all, it is coming from God, not them. I think that the afterlife will be so different and surprising, that those who pass on before us are overwhelmed with what is surrounding them and that they have their attention elsewhere, except for those that go to hell. Those people would like to warn us not to join them there, remember the story of Lazarus and the rich man? The rich man went to hell and wanted to go back and warn his brothers to change their ways and not end up there too because it was so horrible and he was so thirsty he longed for a drink. There was no hope for him and he didnt want his brothers to suffer the same fate. Those that go to heaven because of having their sins forgiven by Christ are in bliss.

Not according to what the Bible really teaches.

For example, Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 states that the dead are unconscious and have no knowledge.

The Bible does show that our dead loved ones will live again, though. Jesus himself promises that in John 5:28,29.

Think of the joy that Lazarus' family experienced when Jesus resurrected him. John chapter 11

Or the widow of Nain, the parents of a twelve year old girl... and many more.

Absolutely. There is no question in my mind.

I think we come here as part of a self chosen group, learning self chosen lessons and I think that the those whose parts are over will want to watch for the outcome. I also think they are there to help out - guardian angels so to speak.

Peace!

No because Ecclesiastes 9:5 says 'The the living are conscious that they shall die but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.' Tells us that the dead no longer exist......

Depends on which plane of existence do have gone to be reborn. If in heaven, it is possible but not likely. If in hell, no way.
