Simpsons or South Park?
The big one, probably asked for the millionth time, but I've never seen it:
South Park or Simpsons??
I think South Park, 100 times better, but because it's older, the original, had more episodes and is a classic, simpsons will win this vote.... but let me know what you think

Anyone who says South Park is dumb is really missing the point, and showing that they themselves are DUMB.... in fact, it's border line genius - so cleverly written, I would say Matt Stone and Try Parker are geniuses ... honestly. Dumb? No, maybe family guy is, but south park is so clever, so well written and SO funny!

While the old Simpsons episodes are classic and will be in syndication for quite some time to come, the new ones lack the originality, wit, and allusions that made the earlier seasons what they are. While they are both cartoons, it's hard to compare South Park with Simpsons. South Park contains more insightful social commentary and has managed to keep fresh for quite a while. If anything, I'd class both cartoons until different genres. It's like trying to compare comedy and tragedy. Some people prefer one more than the other but both are capable of producing great televisions shows (or movies or books or plays).; Though I'm not implying that one is a tragedy and the other a comedy. They're both generally classed under animation/comedy but both use different stylistic and media devices to get their point across.

Well, the Simpson's still has some laugh out loud moments that still makes it endearing. South park is funny for the sheer cleverness they have with pop culture and the way they down play it. (The Mel Gibson "Passion of the Christ" take on it was really funny). Family Guy is funny because of Stewie, Brian the Dog and the way that family reacts towards each other.
But, I do agree with you. When South Park came out, that was the answer to the prayers of people who missed Beavis and Butt-Head and/or Ren and Stimpy: they needed an offensive, edgier cartoon, and, thus, South Park came along. The earlier seasons were, by far, the funniest (Underpants Gnomes?). I mean, now, it is not as great, but, then again, the Simpson's were like that, too.

Both how can you honestly make some one choose?
Simpsons- are funny and is about family and standing to tegether even with a smart mouth bother and a doumb father a house wife and a genius daughter but all so very funny!
South Park- Is about friends as young kids tring to act like the older kids and asking questions but very funny!

Both are great shows, but the Simpsons (like an aging rock star) seem to have lost a bit of their fire over the years. South Park is still running strong! So South Park has my vote.

The Simpsons at first, then South Parkshowed up and was really amazing at first, but the shock value is gone, so I'm back to the Simpsons.

I love both, and I think South Park is actually a more adult show than the Simpsons, its very clever. I`m 33 but still love a laugh at "rude" stuff, and stupidly excellent characters like towlie....................do you wanna get hiiiiiiiiiiiigh? Damn funny.

South Park 100%
The Simpson's is so dry and the colors are bland, but South Park includes a lot of current, up to date, humor and is visually much more appealing

Simpsons. South Park is a repetition of dick and fart jokes. Kinda gets old, if you're over the age of ten.
