Yes, he can have kids still. It's just the fact of if he wants kids that will be a problem. Men never stop being able to produce children unless they become impotent. Where as a woman stops at a certain age. Your clock may be ticking, but have you asked him if he's willing to chase after a kid or two in his old age. Do you think during his retirement years that is what he wants? Most men at that age just want to sit back and enjoy life. I would definitely ask him about the kid part before you take action. You might be surprised with his answer.

a man can get a woman pregnant at that age and older. The question is, does a 58 year old man want to start a family.
I am 53 and to be honest, I would not want to raise and infant at my age. I am blessed with grandchildren and just having them over for a few hours wears me out. That is just me though.

If he hasn't had a vasectomy the only way to know is for him to get a sperm count. Men are able to father children most of thier lives. The question you should be thinking to yourself is if you have a child with him he will be nearly 70 by the time the child is 10. That is if you get started right away. How good of health is this man in? You are running a bigger risk of being widowed with child/ren with a man who is already pushing 60. Is he finacially secure enough that if you are widowed you won't be struggling to provide for child/ren on your own? Think it through. Good Luck

GIRL!! What are you thinking?? I"m sure he's very nice but you can find someone your own age. I'm 55 and a widow so I've been dating some guys in their 50s. It's not IF he can have kids.. it's if he can have sex. And if he can now that may not last but a little while longer if he's no in perfect health. Unless you're prepared to lead a sexless life in your 40+ years I'd keep looking!!!

He won't be having the kids, you will! I don't think that 35 is too old to bear a child a two - remember - you will be doing all the work! He will assist in planting the seeds that are required, but it will be you, who carries then through pregnancy, you who feeds them the breast milk, you who will be changing the nappies or diapers as you call them, and you, who will be the main parent in their lives.
Can you deal with that? if so - you go girl!

Sure he can, but you need to realize that when he is in his 70's, his kids will be in high school. And the older a parent is, the likelihood is greater that there offspring will suffer from some sort of mental dementia. I would have a serious talk with your doctor if I were you.

He can father children up into his 80's and 90's. Tony Randel fathered a child in his 70's or 80's. His wife was in her 30's.

Ps. Tony Randle is the guy from the Odd Couple for those of you how don't know.

Yep. Just ask Larry King and David Letterman. The bigger question is, will he want kids? He'll be 76 years old when the kid is graduating from high school if you marry and get pregnant now!

men can have children until they die. As long as they produce healthy sperm and there is a heathy egg to fertilize an older man can produce a child. I had a uncle who had a child when he was 80 yrs old. Remember Tony Randall he had children in his middle to late 50's.

Tony Randall fathered a child at the age of 90.... I wouldn't advise having kids with someone so much older, just trust me...lol
