Are there men with Asperger's syndrome out there that look handsome and/or masculine? I was just wondering because I'm a young lady with the disorder and it seems all the men I know that have it look totally effeminate or geeky.

Asperger's Syndrome doesn't exist. It just gives people an excuse to be shy or be a social hermit.

i do no longer understand what the best info are for men with Aspergers and marriage yet i've got faith the cost to be extraordinarily low. i'm suspected to be an Aspie yet undiagnosed and that i'm 38 and have in no way been married or in an intimate relationship. i won't be able to discover the object now yet I remember one guy or woman writing approximately Aspergers from Ohio and asserting out of the 80 grownup Asperger men contained in the help team, purely 2 had ever been married and one became an arranged marriage to benefit a eco-friendly card. no longer the happiest odds yet those have been the taking part in cards we've been dealt and that i assume we can purely do the perfect we can from there.

I know of a 16-year-old with Aspergers who is very handsome! Not at all geeky!

I have worked for many years in the mental health field and this question surprised me. Many of the men, as well as boys, I work with that suffer from Asperger's wouldn't qualify under any stereotypical category. Do you look any different than any one else? I would think you wouldn't and if you did, it would not be very noticeable. Asperger's is in the autism spectrum, but does not look like autism -- both physically as well as mentally.

I am sure you will find someone you love. They like you try their best but Aspergers is a disorder where social skills are a hard thing.

I look anything but geeky. I usually wear black jeans, black t-shirts, black leather jackets and black boots and I'm peirced 4 places in my left ear, and I have Asperger's.
