Because i put a dvd on and it said something about country code

Each country has region codes. It keep movies from being bought from different countries. US region codes is 1. Regards.

Some DVD players need to be unlocked to play disks from other regions. Do a search with your model number and the words 'region' and/or 'unlock' may take a few minutes to find but there is usually a code somewhere. If you can't find anything ask a more detailed question here.

they have different region codes, they do that to slow down video pirates, it doesnt really work that well, but i am pretty sure thats the reason, if you change your region code on your player becareful, some have a number limit on the amount of times you can change it, and you may get stuck with a region other than the one you want

u can't ever country has a diffrent code.
