I dont know maybe because its large and well your dont realize that the dumb driver could hit you even.
When I got hit I was running. The driver was so drunk she didn't even stop at the light and I was on her hood for 3 blocks trying first to stay on the car, cause it was moving, and second to get the drivers attention to stop so I could get off.
