-->royphil345 -- First of all royphil, you are ignorant. I'm Jewish and I use regular salt. It has nothing to do with religion!
Secondly, Rawrrrr - you are absolutely wrong. Kosher has nothing to do with items being blessed. It's in the preparation and conditions. "Prepared in accordance with Jewish dietary laws" says google-dictionary.
====================
In response to the question:
Kosher salt is larger in grain than regular.
Here's what google has to say:
QUESTION: What's the difference between kosher and regular salt, and which do you prefer?
ANSWER: "Regular" table salt is a mined product that usually contains additives that make it pour easily. It is typically fine-grained, and iodine is also often added as a nutritional supplement.
Kosher salt is an additive-free, coarse-grained salt regulated by strict kosher guidelines. It's more pure and better tasting.

----> royphil345 ------ Any product carrying a Hechtsher is allowed by the Orthodox Jews. For example, if there is a U with an O around it, it has been approved by the Orthodox Union. Kosher.
We can chat about this another time! LOL

Kosher salt is processed in a way that meets the rules and regulations perscribed my Rabbinic Law. For Jewish people who follow the Biblical laws, that means that it has not been processed in utinsels that have touched both meat and dairy products. (This applies to all Kosher foods) Yes, I know it sounds a little stange, unless you research into Hebrew Scripture. Usually the Kosher salt appears more course.

Regular table salt is refined, and smaller in particle size therefore requiring more is needed for taste.
Kosher salt is more coarse, and is larger in particle therefore requiring less is needed for taste.
They are still sodium chloride though. The only difference that can occur is that in some regulat table salt, they add iodine. Other than that, they are the same chemical composition, just used for different purposes due to the difference in thier particle sizes.

Koasher salt is for Jews. Regular salt is for regular people.
DiDi... You just said yourself that koasher salt is prepared in accordance with Jewish (RELIGIOUS) dietary LAWS. It has EVERYTHING to do with religion. That's the ONLY difference between koasher and non-koasher foods. The ONLY reason for their existence. Was a time when Jews HAD to eat koasher.
And who are you to say in your "definition" that your Jewish salt is better tasting? Taste is a matter of opinion and differs from person to person. A ridiculous, boisterous statement. Personally, I choke on the foul Jewish salt.
Just because Jews who supposedly live by the law...LOL... instead of by grace keep changing the law to make it convenient... to the point where koasher foods aren't even really necessary... Don't call me ignorant for explaining EXACTLY what they are. Only shows you're ignorant and nasty.
