Not by fundamentalists, but by radicals. Fundamentalist are just those who lead a more Orthodox form of their religion. Radicals are those who involve all around him to prove a point. The point is not always a good one.

There have always been fundamentalists. Judaism would've experienced Jewish extremism several thousand years ago, since it's so old. Christian fundamentalists aren't as violent as they once were (during the Crusades, for example). We're at that point now with Muslims. Eventually (somewhere between 100-400 years, probably) Muslims will be more moderate, and there will probably be some other sort of religious fundmentalism troubling the world.
Please note, I'm not saying that all Muslims are fundamentalists, or that all fundamentalists are extremists. I'm simply saying that all the monotheistic religions have gone through this.

Unfortunately the radical fundamentalists of all 3 religions are taking a lot of press and get a lot of coverage when the peaceful, normal ones get nothing at all.
Really, this all makes religions like Islam look evil, even though they are far from it.

Muslims have faith in Mohammed, a "prophet" that replaced his teachings on each and every occasion it convenienced him, thats thrilling, and then on the top of his existence mentioned that he became the final prophet, so do not hear to everybody else... Judaism and christianity do come from the comparable faith, the extensive distinction is that Jewish human beings have not got faith that Jesus became the messaiah, even nevertheless he fufilled all the prophesies that are interior the recent testomony!! you could not say that those religions are the comparable in simple terms through fact they originate from the comparable component to the worldwide!!! No. They are hijacked and changed by people who have power and know these religions are dangerous for their business. I mean religions are full of truth but their business is full of lies.
