Not at all, intolerance does not arises because of the monotheisitic or politheisitic view. Intolerance arises when the differences in the doctrine appasionate the people.

Intolerance is a given in human nature. blacks and whites intolerant of others, jews and muslims, christians and kkk, all groups are intolerant of someone else's beliefs and it does not stop at religion.
