if you're gonna do blunt force to your ear.. don't use a needle.. you'll only have to pull it out and put the earring in. use a sharp or pointy earring and just poke it through real quick.. don't give yourself enough time to think about it!
I've pierced my ears many times when I was younger.. and it worked out fine.. also did my nose with a blunt earring.. you just have to do it QUICKLY!!!!
use ice to numb your ear first if you don't like pain. Ice is also good for thickening your blood for less bleeding. Good luck!

Ice your ear for a few minutes and take an eraser and put behind your ear and push the needle through your ear and into the eraser. Remember to keep your ears clean and swab daily for serveral weeks with an ear cleaning solution. You can get it cheap at Walmart/Target or beauty supply store. With the earrings, turn them several time daily as well.
OR....you can go to Walmart and have it done for about 12 bucks

you should have it professionally done but this is how to do it urself. numb ur ear with ice for atleast ten minutes. then take a half of an apple and put it behind ur ear. sterilize the needle in rubbing alcohol and push it through. the apple or u can use a potato will catch the needle from hurting urself. make sure to rub evrything including ur ear wiht rubbing alcohol

Years ago,they would take 2 ice cubes numb the area.Sterilize the needle with rubbing alcohol.If your brave enough poke the needle threw your ear.

If you really want to do it that way, you have to numb your ear with ice first and make sure the needle is sterilized. But it's better(faster and less painful, and probably less likely to get infected) to go pay someone at a dept or jewelry store to do it.

i wouldn't...but have you ever seen the parent trap she does it with a lemon behind her ear and you must clean the needle with rubbing acholol before you put it through!!!! right after it may bleed but hold a tissue or somethig up to it to catch the blood. BEFORE YOU DO IT NUMB IT WITH AN ICE CUBE!! i don't recomend you do this, you can just go to claires or something and have it done cheaply

keep ice on your ear until it turns numb. it's going to take a while to get it numb but it's worht the wait unless you want to feel an extreme amount of pain. but to be on the safe side, make sure the needle is sterile or get your ears peirced professionally done.

my friend did it by herself cuz her parents were refusing the piercing thing- we were 14 at that time- so she used ice and needle ,the needle stuck in the middle she suffered alot the hole looks ugly it was bleeding and inflamed she couldn't sleep couple of nights cuz of pain ...so don't do it.
