This is probably the most irresponsible way to rehome a dog. You have no guarantee that the dog is going to the right home.

Please, if any of you are thinking of getting a dog, do some research first, contact the kennel club for advice, or get one from rescue. A good rescue will have assessed the dog's temperament and probably given it a full vet's check. It will probably be cheaper, too. Don't get a dog advertised in this way.

The main reason that so many dogs are abandoned &/or destroyed is because of irresponsible breeding and rehoming.

This person will give the dog to the first person who hands over the money. You have no idea what the dog's temperament or history are. If (when?) you have a problem with this dog, do you think that you'll be able to take it back?

Avoid this like the plague.

I've only heard of a Japanese Akita and it's not called Japanese Akita. It's just plain Akita.

What is a Japanese akita? Someone who has money to burn might want to buy it but first you have to tell us what it is. I only know the word Akita as a Japanese place name or a person's name.

if you actually cared at all about the dogs welfare then you wouldn't sell him on a site like this, it's much better for him if you take him to an animal rescue/rehoming centre where they can find him a good loving home, hes welfare should mean more to you than money.

I think you should sell him throught local vets, or a recognised dog magazine or something. Anyone could reply to this and they might want him for dinner!
