My ex left me and has basically asked for space and time to find herself. She became bored of the relationship i guess and has little left to offer. However, she still messages me to see how i am, wnats to be friends with me and generally at least makes me feel she still cares. Thats not saying she wants to get back with me but there is a caring love still there. The problem is i want her back bad. Do you guys reckon that ignoring her a bit and showing her i am moving on with my life and in a sense not looking back it may help her realise i am a great guy for her or do you think she will kind of be happy im out of her life?

That is the healthy thing to do for yourself. Put some distance between you and her and actually move on. If at some point she wants to come back to you...then you will have that opportunity. If that day never comes...then you will have moved on.

If she isn't there for you often, by phone at least, then you should find other women to date I think. Don't play games. Let her know how you feel, find out how she feels. If anything changes, maybe she chooses you, maybe not. Keep your options open if she isn't there for you in a very real way.

This is a tough situation. I think you should go with your gut feeling, which sounds like the plan you suggested. That would be my advice. Good luck.

You can't make her want you back, so either way, try to move on and if she wants you back, good. You may realize you don't want her.

Do yourself a favor and don't pretend to move on, just move on. She wants to be friends.
