Say things like "you're so good to me, I love hanging out with you, you're awesome..." etc. but don't over-do it if you aren't sure where he stands right now.
Just treat him right and always be nice to him... that shows more caring than any words can!

Hmm.. this question is simple, yet can be complex. "Love is a very strong word, which is used "freely" in todays' society, which sort of demeans the meaning. (ex- I love that show!) anyhow, a way you could explain your feelings is by sitting down and explaining that you care about him deeply, and that he means a lot to you. You don't have to use the word "love". You shouldn't feel pressured to use it, and if he asks why- or the common question "Do you love me?" you can always explain he is extremely important to you- but "love" is a large word- and it takes time to grasp.

well that is always hard with the English language. You could just tell him how amazing he is for you. Personaly I just always switch to Spanish and say "te quiero" but that could require him buying a dictionairy =P I guess you can only really just describe how you feel without saying love.

Tell him that you really "Like" him. He makes you feel very special, You enjoy spending time with him. There are numerous sayings wihtout coming out with the L word!!

You can use:
You make me feel really good when you're around.
I'm the happiest when I'm with you.
I really like the time we spend togather.
( it is a dodgy subject. trying to avoid the L word.)
