I have been with my girlfriend about 3 months she really is amazing, about my age but mentaly much more mature we can talk about anything and everything and have alot of fun togther just spontaniously flying somewhere for no other reason than it was cheap and no idea where we are going =P But from the letters she writes me I think she is really falling for me, I'm quite flattered as her ex was a rich London architect and as a 17 year old school boy I didnt think I could compete, I've seen the letters she wrote to him and there is not nearly as much feeling as she's showing me. Don't get me wrong I care for her alot and I want to stay with her but she obviously likes me more than I like her, and when she says these things I simpy can't return the sentiments without being dishonest, which I could never do with her, and I just feel a developing awkwardness as a result. What can I do?

I had a man who definatly liked me more than I liked him. I got so tired of being so adored by someone that I didn't share feelings with. I wanted to scream. I felt totally smotherd.
If you are with her because she is rich and world wise, that isn't fair to her. If this continues and you don't share the feelngs it will be an injustice to her. The longer you keep this up the more you will hurt her. Maybe you can give her a talk and say...".hey lets slow down a bit on this relationship becasue I am not feeling the same level that you are"

I have a feeling you just need to break this off or convince her that you two should JUST be friends. And that would be friends with NO benifits.

Tell her the truth, tell her how you really feel about her not how your pretending just to be nice! If you don't be honest with her and tell her that you do not like her as much as she likes you then she will find out eventually actions speak louder than words!

Your just going to have to tell her that you like things the way they are for now. When se tells you she loves you, just say your very flattered, and that you ar very fond of her (Don't say you love her cause you obviously don't yet).

well then let this relationship go.. dont lead her on.. its really mean you know...

ok if you really love her then let it be... love does take time for some people.. and i betch by the time you know it you'll be on the same level as her... believe me you might not feel it now but you definitely feel it later on when your together for 2 years or so...

my advice would just be to tell her how you feel...theres nothing else you can do. How else will she ever know? If you cant talk to her in person you shoud write her a letter.
