My wishes are to have my body cremated, and then have the ashes spread throughout the mountains. Mountains are beautiful to me, and depending on the emotional condition of the soul upon death, it is possible for the soul to cling to the body. Other than that, cremation is the fastest way to return ones atoms to the universe. If you think about, we are only borrowing the atoms that make up our bodies, because in reality they have been around forever and could even have been involved in the fusion in the core of a star millions of light years away. And who wants to lock those atoms up withing a metal box and burry them in the ground where those atoms can never be used again? Even though eventually rhe cofin will decay as is natural for everything, and your atoms will be returned once again to the universe, maybe even to play a roll in the DNA of an alien.

I plan to be cremated-why take up more space on a planet that is running out of it?

Cremated, and my ashes scattered in a pre-determined garden spot. That way, my children and grandchildren will associate my resting place with life and peace.

Cremated.
I would want a picture of myself in remembrance of the good times.
I feel that it would be a less painful experience.
I also notice that when I go to a funeral and look at the body, it looks nothing like the person when they were alive.

cremated, my body has taken up so much space and consumed so much while I am alive, why should I continue taking up space for the rest of eternity?

I want to be placed in a table-casket so I can still be accessable in the home. Freaky, using a casket as a everyday coffee table.

Buried, no embalming, in a coffin of untreated wood so I decay like I am suppose to.

they can do what they wish to me .. as it is only my body
however i do find graves a beautiful reminder of people and a place for moments of reflection .. so yes that would be nice
but it really makes no difference to me either way
