I think most of humanity will disagree with you. The 70-80 years of possible life on this earth is fleeting. Most of us would like to know that something else is there.
Fortunately, you can know and believe that eternal life is not only possible, but mandated; the difference is in whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
John 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
Joh 3:15 so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 Anyone who believes in Him is not judged, but anyone who does not believe is already judged, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.
1Jo 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
1Jo 5:12 The one who has the Son has life. The one who doesn't have the Son of God does not have life.
1Jo 5:13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

i am not consumed by what happens when we die .. i do however find it fascinating and have had some wonderful evidence of it .. so i simply cant ignore it
this doesnt stop me living .. infact the more i know about the after life , the more i want to live for each moment here ... because as you rightly pointed out , all there is .. is now ( for now )
but some of us do have a clue ( more than a clue )

I believe that if we grow closer to God and are therefore more loving to our fellow humans. Then we bring the Kingdom of God to life on this earth even if only for a moment.

You still have to prepare for the next day! People die everyday but all are not ready because they don't think about what will happen tomorrow! All they know is Now! we can live in the now but we still can think of tomorrow!

I don't believe that all there is is now. I believe in living eternally. It's about faith, and many won't accept this, but I know it's true, and one day everyone will know. Check out this site: www.notreligion.com

You are correct. That is all some people live for....to die. They waste their entire life for this.
