My mother has taught me to be contented with what I have, to treat others the way I would like to be treated (although some ppl are just not worthy of such honour due to their disgusting attitudes), to bear in mind that some friends do cause u pain and i'm living testimony to that fact, to be assertive and never allow anyone to walk all over me. And when choosing a husband, ensure that he's intelligent, loves, honors and respects me cause when u choose someone who wants nothing out of life, don't expect them to contribute anything to life all u'll do is just spend the rest of ur years regretting u ever chose him because of all the pain, humiliation and displeasure he's cost you. My mum is truly an inspiration to me and I'm thankful to be her daughter. She's also taught me many other things and still continues to do so but for now, they are most important values which stick out in my mind. Oh and btw great question, it's very thought provoking.

To read!! God what we do with out being able to read. I have a boy of 9 and just trying to get him to pick a book up is hard enough. So i fully understand now how hard it is to teach someone to read.
Reading a good book can be the most rewarding way to lock youself off for a few hours and become some one else or travel to another place. May all children be as lucky as me and be able to enjoy reading!! Thanks Mums & Dads all over the world.

my mum taught me to respect,be honest, that everyone is an equal.good manners, that you couldnt throw a tantrum to get your own way(that never worked ha ha)or walk in a shop and expect a treat everytime.she taught me to be sensible with money.most importantly she taught me life, and what its all about.i now do the same thing with my children. i see other children get everything they want, but do they really appreciate it? my children only get when they are good, not to keep them quiet.and the smile on their little faces is something so special, even if its a little treat,i feel so proud that my mum brought me up like this alone, she is the best,

Your mum and dad could be incapable of showing love. curiously they teach emotion, anger. they could have been raised that thank you to boot, and their caught in a loop. there's no evaluate being indignant at them using fact of it. they at the instant are not satisfied and neither are you. the sturdy information is which you be responsive to the shortcoming of emotion. you could wreck the chain! enable your self sense. enable your self open as much as the adventure love and elation and each and all of the sentiments that contain it. come across the joys of giving and getting love. i believe you have various affection outfitted up interior you. don't be afraid to enable it out. think of of what a great occasion you're able to be of a loving parent - and your mum and dad will see that as time is going on.

To treat others as I would like to be treated: with respect and honor. My parents taught me to treat all people with respect and honor regardless of their circumstances in life. In other words, I would treat a custodian at a college exactly the same way as I would treat the College President - honorably and respectfully. Underneath titles, education, financial wealth or poverty, religious backgrounds, upbringing, race, color, creed, etc., we are all people. We all bleed, cry, laugh, love and hurt. We are no different from each other - our lives may be different, but we are the same: human.
