For those of you who don't know what that show is, it's the one with the freaky egg-like creatures of different colors wrapped in fur that run around chanting "booooooooohbaaaaaaaah!"
They personally freak me out.

I agree, this is probably one of the only shows I wouldn't let my child watch, unless they really enjoyed it.

Hey, now, don't put down Telletubbies, I watched that growing up. Of course, don't understand why I ever liked it now, but my parents were fine with me watching that.

I really hated it the very first time I watched it. I thought "How dumb is this? What is the purpose to this show?"
But.... Then I put it on one more time and my then 2 year old sat down and never moved from the tv. (This is a very active child who DOESN'T sit and watch tv for more than a few min). He was enticed by the sounds and lights and would giggle. He also started to get up and dance and do the movements the kids were doing.
I've learned to find that they are very cute, a little annoying, but still holding the boys attention.

It's odd, weird, whacked, strange, eccentric, and all other words that mean just FREAKY! LOL.
No way, I dont let my kids watch that. First of all, what do they learn? BABY TALK! Ug!
Second, those things are scary and the plot is for like, well, no one to be able to sit through and watch.
I bet the creators are druggies and high when they make it. Ha!

oh my gosh boohbah is the ONE show on pbs that my daughter is not allowed to watch KInd of freaky huh?????.....I do not know where the are teaching math and movement ...but I do not see it ...now we do have to understand that this show is keyed for toddlers right???? but it is adults that put it together (where do they come up with theese things)

Those big floating pimple things freak me out. I won't let my daughter watch them (nor do I let her watch the big freaky "dinosaur" Barney)...Blue's Clues and Bear in the Big Blue House are just fine.

Well...it's kinda dumb. I wouldn't let my kids watch it in the first place!
I'd prefer something a little more educational...like Sesame Street...or something like that.
I hate Boohbah...and the Teletubbies. Stupid, stupid shows.

that is a terrible show for children in my opinion!!! It is teaching them how to "baby talk" basically. Is that what you want them to learn? Not what I want my kids watching for sure!!! I have found nothing educational about this show at all!

I cannot stand that show. My daughter likes it, but since I am the adult, and she only has one show a day that she may watch, we go for blues clues or jacks big music show.

There are certain shows that are off limits to my daughters, that is one of them. My daughter saw it once and had nightmares the next night... Wait maybe it was me who had the nightmares. Anyway, I would say no to that show. It's a little trippy at times. O.o

My daughter likes the show so I'll let her watch it occasionally. I don't get it though - it's definitely a weird one.

ummm we watched it once. Kids don't really like it and I found it very bazarre. In fact now I have that Boo Bah song in my head!THX ALOT
