The Atheist population is growing. Especially with teenagers

I think there will be no 2000 years coming Jesus is coming *soon* !!

well there are several religions older than 2000 years now.... but some notable religious have grown out of fashion... most notably
Greek/Roman mythology, personality cults of Jim Jones and the Branch Dravidians. But many are thriving after over 2000 years.
Now if in a few years The messia comes depending on whether he claims to be here for the first or second time he could put the cabash on either Judism or Christianity respectively) and may at the same time either confirm allah's revelations to Mohammad or deny them.. If you are an athiest you will definitly be hoping for Jesus to come down tell the Jews that he has been here before, tell the Christians they got everything backwards, tell the muslims that mohammad was jsut delusional and then say
"Beam me up daddy there is STILL no intelligent life here."
but if you ever get into a situation where your cold intellect is of no use, all things are possible through faith.
There will always be a need to try to solve/cope with impossible situations with faith and prayers.. that is the way we are now ...
and the way the world is going I do not see an anesthetic blissful state anywhere on the horizon.

You can tell that there are a lot more atheists these days.. in no small part due to the Internet. The same thing happened when the printing presses were made. The church has never been able to stand up to a free exchange of information. Now that they have lost their best tool in silencing us (burning us at the stake)..it is all downhill from here. The belief in bible/koran god will be looked at similar to the way we look at the Norse gods now in the not so distant future.

We dont have 2000 years.Jesus is coming very very very soon.You atheist are the delusional idiots for not following the truth.But just so you know you'll regret everything you say and do against God because He's a just God and hes giving everyone a chance to spend eternity in Heaven with Him.So you better make sure you do the right thing before its too late.

I doubt the concept of God will ever vanish, but what will shift and change is man's view of his Creator.
Religion is just man's attempt to comprehend God. From the first days of the Shamen walking with Gitche Manitou, to the far future, with whatever the words become.
Words are man-made, to describe ideas. Idea's are memes, and meme's are energy, and energy is neither created nor destroyed, just changed from form to form.

I don't know where you got your information, but Christianity is growing faster than it ever has before. If you don't realize that, you don't live in Africa or China. The atheist population may be growing and I feel sorry for them. DO you really want to live 2000years more on a cursed planet?

2-3%.
Real numbers are growing as population grows but you remain the dull minded minority.

At the rate we are destroying the planet, I think this could be a moot question.
But, for the record, didn't the Jews and the Romans think pretty much the same thing about Christianity, 2,000 years ago??
