why is she having trouble?? I had trouble letting go of an ex gf once. It was easy after I figured out that the relationship would have never worked. I realized that even if we did stay together I would have eventually left her and I was over her in about 5 minutes. Tell your friend to focus on her strengths and natural talents and try to enhance them so next time she will be the one controlling the outcome of new relationships.

There's lots of ways you can tell her, but sometimes people have to make their own mistakes and learn from them. Unfortunately, people don't always ake their friends advice, and no matter what you say, she's just going to have to figure this one out on her own. And when she does, I'm sure that you, being the good friend you are, will be the first one there with tissues and sympathy.
