That's what Ayman al-Zawahiri says. Then we would have no problems with the terrorists. Of course we'll have to stop drinking beer and women will have to wear burkas.

if you consider that option then the US would no longer be the US it would be a Islamic state, no freedom would we have. We would not have freedom to worship or choose a president or anything of this nature.

But to answer your question in all honesty this would not stop terrorism! Because not all terrorists are Islamic fundamentalists or radicals. Remember Timothy McVey? Plus there are others that would disbelieve such from the US.

Terrorism will always be there! Until God does away with this present system.

No, because the US is founded upon Christian beliefs and principles. Read the Consitution with a discerning eye and you will see what I mean. Plus our pilgrim ancestors left Eastern hemisphere to worship the way we want to so identifing a single national religion would destroy the "Meltingpot" that we call the United States of America.

And as a side note, I know plenty of Muslims who drink and don't wear burkas.

Converting to Islam would not make a person less American. Religion has nothing to do with your heritage and where you came from. It's a change into what you believe, but you would always be an American.

Most US citizens are theortical theists but practical atheists, so it's no use converting to Islam.

Do you believe everything you hear? It is called smoke and mirrors. That man is extremely dangerous. Your problems have only just begun if you believe him.
