like if we are in the yard running int he rain or ont he trampoline, and i ask and they say they dont care, is it still ok? what about if we are of the opposite sex?

If men relieving themselves in public offends you then you had better stay away from the Philippines. When we take a taxi from downtown to home each night we play a game to see who can spot the most men taking a leak on side of the road. There is even a local joke about it - The Russian President was invited to the Philippines for a State Visit. When he was leaving the President of the Philippines told him she hoped he enjoyed his visit and all his questions concerning the Philippines had been answered. The Russian President said Madam President I still have one question. As we traveled around the Philippines I noticed many men relieving themselves on side of the road is that proper here. The President of the Philippines responded it is against the law, but we cannot enforce the law or the prisons would overflow. We build little pink urinals along the roads, but they do not use them as you see. Several months later the Philippine President was invited to Russia as she was departing to the airport for her return trip she began to scream "Stop the car, stop the car." She told the Russian President look that man is relieving himself on side of the road I thought you told me it did not happen in Russia. The Russian President said Madam President I am so sorry, but we cannot do anything about it. You see he is the Philippine Ambassador to Russia and has Political Immunity."

Depends where you are...if you are at the beach, in the woods or at a kegger...and there is some kind of shelter to hide behind, it is probably not rude...if you are on the golf course at the country club, or in the park, or at an outside wedding, that is definitely rude...either way, be sure you don't get busted for indecent exposure!

I pee outside sometimes but usually if I am in the woods on 4-wheeler then no other place to go. Also if we are drinking and all having a tail gate party they everybody pee outside.
Both men and women. The women hate to do it and will try to hold it

Not if you're in France! They have these nifty little 3-sided things right out in the open--right in public--where a guy can just step in, relieve himself, then go on his merry way. Gross, huh?
My tour director in Italy told this to my group and she was clearly disgusted. She was like, "Those French people are disgusting! Why would you want some guy using the bathroom right in front of you while you're walking down the sidewalk?!" Apparently she isn't too fond of the French...
In America and Italy, it is taboo. Don't do it. Please, for the love of GOD don't do it.
***Note: this was her opinion on the French, not mine. I think they're cool, but their little "peeing behind plastic" thing is a bit out there...

I guess if its all boys together its ok, but really if a toilet is within easy reach why would you? the girls might say they dont mind, but why not be a gentlemen and use the bathroom

I think it's ok in the privacy of your own backyard, or if you're out camping in the woods. Other than that, probably not such a good idea.

HA WE WERE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD FOR VACATION AND MY AUNT STOPPED THE CAR SO MY CUZ, 14, COULD PEE..... HE WHIPPED IT OUT towards THE HIGHWAY AND PEED THE DRIVERS WERE HONKING AND IT WAS HILARIOUS OF COURSE WE ARE CLASSIFIED AS REDNECK

THAT'S WHAT BATHROOMS ARE FOR. YOU COULD GET ARRESTED FOR EXPOSING YOURSELF. THAT WOULD COST YOU MORE THAN TAKING THE TIME TO GO THE REST ROOM.
