First mix re and yellow it make orange. Then add a little blue at a time. You can also add more red or yellow to get the colour brown you are after. You can also add white or black to alter its tone.
Before adding any extra colour or shade, I always separate a little of the paint I'm mixing, just to try it. If it turns out to be a mistake, you haven't ruined all of the paint you have just mixed.
The best way of finding out how to make new colours/shades from mixing paint, is to just try it. Colour/tone is also effected by the surface it is painted on and the lighting conditions of the space you look at it in.

Brown is a combination of opposites on the color wheel such as red and green or yellow and Violet. If you have these colors of paint you can make brown paint.

Try mixing small amounts of complementary colors: red & green, orange & blue and yellow & violet. Experiment until you get nearly the brown you want. If you have a good selection of paints, you'll have several reds, several greens, etc.

You have to mix red, blue and yellow, and then add white or black in order to have a light brown or dark brown.

mix up a few other colors ... red, yellow and black would probably come close. i'd try mixing up a very small amount first to see if you like the results.
if you just need a LITTLE bit of paint, buy a small bottle of acrylic craft paint. they're less than $1 at michael's or hobby lobby, etc.
