What do you mean, he's chosen you over her? He might be flirting with you, but she's the girlfriend! I think he's playing you and his girlfriend off against each other. If he wanted to end it with his girlfriend and go out with you instead, he would have dumped her by now. But he hasn't, so the best thing you can do it move on before you lose your dignity (and friend!). The fact that he's deceiving her in this way shows what sort of boyfriend he will be - if he does this to her, he would treat you like this too, IF (and that's IF) you became his girlfriend. Him suggesting going out with you sounds to me like he's leading you on.
Guys come and go all the time, and it's not worth losing a friend for, trust me. You deserve better!

*sigh* I just hate these situations. Tell him to back off and yeah think about the other questions. Do you want to have him and loose a good friend who's been through thick and thin? Or keep your friend and loose the guy who's obviously flirting his way to you? If I were you, let's see, I'd tell him to stop and then talk to my friend. Girl, he's probably using your friend to get to you or something. Don't waste your time with guys like that. (I'm not saying ALL guys are like that! ^^)

Tell him that he has to chose. That though you like him, you won't go out with him behind your friend's back. If he breaks up with her, because he doesn't like her that way anymore, then he needs to be nice. Don't let him "switch" girlfriends either. let him be single for a while (suggested amount of time is 3 weeks), and then you guys can fall together. That way your friend doesn't feel like you've betrayed her.

well you have to chose who you like more. your friend, or a budding relationship. also i wouldnt go for it too much because if he's willing to cheat on her with you, thnk about who he'll be talking to while yall are together. its certainly not a good sign of being a good bf because he's not being a good one to her. but he could just maybe not like her that much and like you more. i would pay alot of attention to the way he acts. If you catch him flirting with anyone else besides you then he's prolly not worth it. See how loyal he is by evaluating his actions and what he does. But if it was me i wouldnt go for it because he seems like he would do the same thing to you. He'll end up talking to one of your friends while yall are together

well you have to ask yourself a question
would you rather lose one of your friend or you rather be with a guy who is ready to left his girlfriend for you. so its for you to decide how much you care about your friend because either way you are going to get hurt so think i suggest you think twice.
let your heart decide!

If he is already cheating on his current girlfriend...he will soon also cheat on you...is THAT what you WANT?
I doubt it...dump him as a friend, and tell your friend what happened. Let her make her own dicision. But you stay away from this guy, as he obviously is a take-em-and-leave-em kinda guy........
