Hi... my new kitten is throwing up foamy stuff. First it was white, now it's yellow. Three times today - and it's worrying me. It has hardly eaten and it doesnt like moving from it's bed. It is cuddly and purrs when I come next to eat, and has a sympathetic meow on occassion. Any suggestions?

Sounds either upset stomack or hiarball issues. Go pick up some petgrass from your local petco and let her eat it if she wants. Try stabilizing her food- if you switched recently get the old stuff, make sure what she has is fresh and clean.

Kittens and puppies both sometimes can't handle food changes if you buy whatever type from week to week instead of remaining consistent. Try pet grass or take her outside for some fresh air but keep an eye she doesn't wander and she should come around.

If the vomiting gets severe or new symptoms start call a vet right away, but she sounds fairly normal from your post.

Yes, take her to the vet. The kitten looks at you as it's mother. Would you let your child throw up like that and not take it to the doctor?

Cats purr when they are happy and when they are ILL or in PAIN.
Your kitten sounds pretty sick to me and I wouldn't hesitate in an eye-blink to take her off to the emergency vet.

Yes, take it to the vet. At such a young age all the throwing up can cause other problems, like dehydration etc.

sounds like the kitten needs to see a vet, pinch up the skin, if it does not go right back down, your kitten is dehydrated

you really need to get to a vet. Dehydration can be fatal in any animal. With the vomiting it can become very ill quickly good luck

It is probably because he or she drinks to much because my dog has that problem sometimes.
