Jesus said in this life, we will have tribulation (suffering, trials). In the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve disobyed God, sin entered the world. Look around you. All the suffering and disease you see is a product of this sin, snowballing through time.
However, if you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, nothing that happens to you is a coincidence; God works all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. He can refine us by our trials, just like gold is purified and refined through the fire.
Yes, we're going to die. But there is an eternal kingdom waiting for you, if you know Jesus as your savior, which I pray in His name you either do now, or will.

Just what is the meaning of life is a question that people have been trying to answer for centuries. Philosophers, religious leaders, all have been trying to figure that one out and nobody has yet. It seems certain there will be some bible-beaters on here who will tell you the meaning is all about your eternal reward with Jesus and God and all that nonsense, but if great thinkers and religious leaders such as Luther, numerous Popes, da Vinci and others weren't able to figure out the meaning of life, how can some of these people on here figure it out?

There's suffering in the world because of man's wrongdoing. It's not the work of God. We need God's help to wipe away suffering. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

OK well he gives us suffering as a test, to see if we love him. Like Job. Job was a myth, but it explains why we suffer. He also gives us suffering as punishment for sins, direct punishment to remind us that he is not just some fairy in the sky. He gives us suffering so that we can grow stronger--what does not kill us cures us ;-) . And suffering is to help remind us of the good things in life.
Let me explain. If you didn't die, ever, would you wake up each morning and look at the sunrise and say "That is so beautiful, that is special"? No. You would look at it and say "Oh, I've seen a sunrise just like that 1,341 years ago". You would not appreciate the beauty of the world if you had it everyday. So it is with suffering--without suffering, we would say "Oh well I will have the same amazing experience tomorrow so why appreciate today?"

God is not doing it you are. How you choose to perceive the world is what is making you suffer. Change your perception and you can change your life. You seem to be putting all your focus on the misery in the world and yes there is plenty but I am sure there are many things in your life that you can be thankful and grateful for. There is beauty all around us we just have to wake up and be aware of it. That is why we are alive.

God sees us from an eternal perspective. If we suffer for 10 or even 30 years that is a very short time compared to eternity. The important part is how you respond to suffering.
Do you get bitter or get better?

if you look at the relationship between a parent and child you will see god and you.
if your parent hands you two dishes. one plain the other sweet.
the plain one will make you stronger and the other will not give you any nutrition.
if you keep eating plain you will grow and be strong the other will stunt your growth.
eating the plain one is hard when you can see the sweet. but it is obiously the right choice.
why is god responsible for the conciquences of your choice.
we have all eaten the sweet. but if we turn back we will gain our strength back.
that simple
he dosnt cause it he alowes you to make your choice, he even tells you what your choice will bring forth, but you must live or die with the cociquences of that choice.

Suffering is the result of the fall of man, not the will of God. The good news is; God has made an easy way out. Focus on that.

If feel the same, why would God let horrible things happen if he loves everyone? Why do little kids get beaten, people starve and horrible things happen to good people? My step father because the crap out of me when I was younger. Did it make me stronger? Absolutley not, taught me distrust and fear. Is it my fault, because we chose our own paths? THAT is why I have chose to be atheist and believe karma is a 8itch.
