I have never heard of anyone thawing meat with HOT water. LOL If the water was in the sink and the sink was not sanitized, chuck the meat and start over.

Yeah water won't hurt it. Now just make you clean the sink if the water got to the meat, then the meat got to the sink. Don't want no Salmonella bacteria in the sink use Bleach.

It should be okay if used right away..but in future, either use cold water or let it thaw in the fridge over night..never on the counter over night.

i would think that the meat is still good

some people wash their meat before they use it anyway

im not sure about thawing meat in hot water though .... :P

never thaw your meat in hot or warm water only in cold water!!!
i wouldn't eat it!

Yes, there is naturally water in beef (and all meat). Just drain it well and cook it.

nope it isn't any good...you should of used COLD water, first of all and next time doulble bag the burgers...if you do cook it MAKE sure you cook it throughly.....

Yes, but it will be difficult to make into patties. if you are just going to brown for a casserole or something, you will need to drain it.
