My stomach has been hurting for like a week now. At first my back would hurt too.It feels like a fireball under my ribcage. I do drink sometimes. Last week I drank too much on two diffrent nights. Does that have anything to do with the burn in my belly? And why did it just start? It seems to hurt more after I eat and when I go to sleep-and my back...what is this??

You probably have a gastric ulcer rather than the duodenal ulcer which is the common variety. The back pain is rather ominous as it could be early pancreatitis or the pain may be starting from your kidneys which might have a stone inside that is being dislodged because of the diuretic effect of the alcohol.

This is probably gastritis--alcohol will do that to you. What it is, however, and the probable consequences depends pretty much on how frequently and heavily you use alcohol. There is another condition commonly seen in alcoholics called verices--small ruptures found in either the esophagus or the stomach, caused by the weakening of the capillary walls. This condition will eventually prove fatal, and is extremely difficult and basically futile to treat. Particularly if one keeps drinking.

yes it could be from drinking, alcohol over time could be eating the lining of your stomach, causing an ulcer..once it is there anything can trigger it to give you pain..it could also be a gallbladder attack I suggest you make a Dr's appt first thing tomorrow.. and get yourself checked out...

My spirit guide says someone put a curse on you.

Don't panic! Just take a salt water bath while saying your name backwards at the next full moon and you will be cured.

It could be gastritis. Very painful. Or it could be something else. Maybe gallbladder troubles -- did you eat something fried or fatty? You might want to see your doc about this.
