I utterly and totally love and adore my dog so much, she is both my husband and my life, but as much as she is the world to us we do love each other more, I get loyalty and reliability from both my husband and my dog but in very different ways.

I love my dog more than anything. But I demand more from my partner than I do from my dog. If I expected more from my dog maybe I would not like it so much?

Definitely YES! My relationship with my dog(s) are probably going to last longer, and be more mutually pleasing than one I've had with a human...partner or otherwise...ever in my life.

my dog has absolute power in the bed....so you are not alone. my wife would much prefer to sleep with the dog than with me...not as much kicking!
