I love a chapel that is mostly empty, yet prepared for a celebration of the Eurcharist. I find that my senses are triggers for spirituality. I like how I see the variations of colors through the stained glass windows. I enjoy the sweet scent of the incense around the alter. I enjoy hearing quiet organ music in the background, and the feel of holy water on my finger as I enter the sanctuary. Finally, at the end of communion, I enjoy the opportunity to kneel before the alter on which Christ has been sacrificed, and taste the cup of salvation and bread of life offered to me. It's very spiritual to actually consume the host and know that God is dwelling within you.

My most spiritual place is on the beach at sunrise or sunset, with nobody else around. I can be at peace, and let everything else go. Luckily, I've actually done this enough times that I can close my eyes and remember when I need to. Not as good as the real thing, but sufficient.

I feel the most spiritual when I have to make a very difficult decision and I have to choose the best option for everyone involved. When I do that, the blessings are sometimes more than I feel I deserve.

Nice to see questions like this on YA. It's been a while since I've looked at the stars at night. How could such a vast universe be anything other than God's creation?

Communing with nature always makes me feel spiritual. Hiking, gardening, swimming in the ocean, all these things heighten my spirituality. Institutional religions and their rituals do not move me and seem rote and devoid of true meaning.

When you feel the love of God filling your heart, when you feel you want to dance for the great joy you are experiencing, when you feel you love all mankind and you want to give every body a portion of your love, when you feel you are truly filled by the Holy Spirit, when your heart is found as of the heart of God, this is when you feel most Spiritual.

Standing in the presence of the beauty of nature. Silently snowing in the middle of a field, looking off the edge of a mountain at a beautiful landscape, laying on my back in a field staring at a sky full of stars....

When I'm in my car on the way to work. First I pray then I sing worship songs.
Always a good way to start the day!
God bless

Usually holding a new baby, or witnessing something beautiful made by God, like a sunset, sunrise, ocean waves, full moon, gorgeous cloud formation or stunning flower.
