Americans eat with the fork and knife reversed, a custom dating back to the fight for independence from England. When the revolutionary element sat down to eat and plot, they would watch which hand the others at the table ate with. If they ate using the American style of holding the cutlery it was OK to plot, but if someone used the natural or 'European' style of holding the utensils you kept your mouth shut. Sort of like a club's secret handshake

It is good. If u put the fork in your left hand it isn't really nice.
