Josh...Christianity isn't a religion, it's about relationship.
You are correct in seeking only the Holy Bible, for Christ's teachings. There are NO other "Holy" book(s). If someone tells you there is...be very careful that they don't deceive you.
In Rev. 22:18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words of this prophetic book, God will remove that person's share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
Also, the Holy Bible tells us there will be false prophets and teachers...Matthew 7:15 [ The Tree and Its Fruit ] "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep, but are really wolves that will tear you apart.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will appear and will lead many people astray.
Matthew 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great miraculous signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God's chosen ones.
As for finding a Church, I would recommend looking for a Spirit filled Church. One that urges relationship with Jesus Christ and and pushes away from "religion" or playing Church.
I prefer the non-denomination...
Wishing you the best in finding the right Church!
Grace and God Bless!!!

The right Christian religion does not teach out of the Bible ONLY but out of BOTH the BIBLE and DIVINE TRADITIONS.
What I mean by “divine traditions” is that teaching which was given to the apostles by Jesus or inspired to the apostles by the Holy Spirit and handed in to the Church through another channel than the Bible.
It’s what Paul taught when he said in the Second Letter to the Thessalonians : "So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, EITHER by WORD OF MOUTH or by letter" (2:15).
God’s revelation to mankind is twofolded : a written part (the Bible) and an oral part (the teachings of the first Christians who had received those divine traditions from the apostles).
A Christian needs both because if one is missing we cannot interpret correctly the other. It's like having a book where a page is missing every other page.

Actually Ive been to a few Charismatic, churches, or else word churches, or Non denominational churches, that do. They may go by more that one name, but they are not an organized religion. The ones Ive been to made the bible come alive to me and taught about the root words and customs back when the bible was written.

When you figure it out, let me know. I have tried lots of them, and I have read the whole entire Bible cover to cover. Would you believe that I haven't found one single thing in the entire Bible that says we actually have to worship Jesus, or that people who don't believe in him will go to Hell? Not ONE! But every single Christian church teaches those two things. And don't give me that John 3:16 thing, either - because that does not specifically say that we will go to Hell if we don't believe in him or worship him - only that the only way to heaven is through him. That could mean that we get to heaven through exhibiting his attributes. The words "worship" or "believe" are not there. Any quote they give you has been interpreted by some preacher somewhere, and that preacher's interpretation has miraculously become gospel and we'll go to Hell for not believing him. It's all BS if you ask me.

it is for this reason millions of christians have left for "greener" pastures[islam].to even ask what is the right christian religion is to acknowledge that even christians dont know what is correct anymore.if they did there would not be more than one christianity to follow.ask yourself, what sect did Jesus follow?was he baptist?catholic, protestant? what? or did he submit His will to that of the one who created Him? this... is Islam.submission the the will of God.

You could always be non-denominational, and practice Christianity on your own.
