jobs like this are rarely done by the hour

each job is different and if you are going to have the job contracted you should get a firm quote first

I lived and worked in the Seattle area for 4 years. My fees ranged from $25 to $40 per hour for contract work, plus any additional labor I needed and materials costs.

I would call several contractors and ask them to give you an estimate for the whole job. Hourly pay sometimes gives contractors too much leeway on dawdling over the amount of time. With estimates in hand, you can then ask hourly wagers how long it normally takes them, and what their hourly rate is and know the aprox. price it should cost, if you decide to use them. Also ask for and check references!
