I said sorry to someone and that person was like no u weren't (it was silly I only stepped on the persons foot on accident)and then that persons like "don't point out the obvious"

ok this person is a friend but I don't get why my friend always says that when I say sorry(like the feet thing, and other things like her stomach hurts or oops knocked books over)

It means that the person you apologized to was rude. Don't let this ruin your day & remember that kindness is much better in the long run.

They didn't believe you were sincere. Apologizing has become more customary than it has sincere. Perhaps, in a sincere tone (not that you weren't in the first place), you tell them something like "I really am sorry about that."

Its hard to know what people think, in todays society. Most are simply rude, and unforgiving. I would simply move on and be the best person you can be.

Sounds like he's paranoid, I wouldn't think too much of it. Or maybe he thinks his feet are big and people make fun of him and he just lashed out at you.
