You do not have to match brands to get the best sound, but if you insist, Zapco would be a great expensive choice if you are serious about winning. http://www.zapco.com

If you meant how to setup a LOUD SPL system, your options are endless. It depends on your budget, more dough = more SPL...

What level do you want to compete at? It is hard to beat the pros unless you git lots of money to throw away.

One of the loudest systems that I designed consisted of this:

MMATS 3000.05 amp: 2500 watts RMS @ 1/2 ohm mono
Two MMATS Dreadnauts 15" Subs Dual 2 Ohm Coils
HUUUUGE Ported Enclosure, Subs & Ports facing the headliner.
Tons of Dynamat everywhere.
Stinger 150 Amp Alternator, 2 Optima Yellow Batteries.
For Speakers, we went with JL Audio XR Series Components Powered by a MMATS SQ4150 Four Channel Amp.
Wires Also by stinger, 1 Gauge to 2 Gauge + 4 Gauge.

We managed constant SPL of 146 db And SPL "Spikes" of 152 db !!!

Total cost : $7500.00.
