most burning programs will do this.
put music cd in drive and rip it using wmp or other software save as mp3 to a file ( average 200 mp3 to cd ,1400 to a dvd)
i use nero
if you have mp3 files on your system it's easy ,just copy all the files to ether a cd or dvd and burn
most stand alone dvd players will play these

If you have a CD-R or DVD-R drive (not just a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM) and the computer is running on windowsXP, you can burn files directly from explorer without any additional software.

You have to keep in mind though that if you burn your music as mp3 files, you can only use it on computers but you can fit a lot of songs. On the other hand if you want to burn a CD that can be played in ordinary CD audio players like your stereo you need to burn it in the audio CD format.

The XP CD burning wizard will automatically give you this option if the files you are trying to burn are audio.

Just drag the files and drop in to the CD-R drive. Then right click and choose "write these file to CD" and follow the instructions on screen.

As reported above, not except you have a DVD force on your stereo. in spite of the shown fact that there are a number of DVD gamers that settle for MP3 data on a disc, so so you might use them by way of the DVD participant (which you additionally can hook up on your stereo with some much less costly cables) relies upon on how lazy you desire to be lol
