Psychic Phenomena?

Question

What are your opinons on psychic phenomena? This a serious question and i would appreciate serious answers. Do you believe it exists? To what extent... i.e simple telepathy... or someone can take over your mind... Okay and anyother thoughts would be useful!

I do believe psychic talents exist. Some have more than others naturally, some have to work at it.

I do not believe it exists as depicted in the media. I believe it's a much more prosaic thing, and arises naturally out of our existing five senses.

I've always been interested in what some like to call the occult, but what I believe is based on what I have personally experienced. My tarot teacher is also a medium. While I believe in HER, I'm not sure I "believe" what she has said she's experienced. She IS one hell of a seer though! That I can say for sure.

The capabilities of the human mind have barely been scratched. Some people, without knowing how are able to tap into regions of the brain most can't use. Some are able to use this to 'see' past or future events. Some are able to use this to manipulate matter as in telekenisis. Some are able to use this to effect changes on a cellular level, so called faith healers. Others can transport themselves telepathically from one location to another with astral projection. It all exists. We all have the capabilities within us, we just don't always possess the key or the willingness to unlock that door in our minds. Jesus tried to teach us how to use that power for good by healing people, even raising the dead. I think for centuries we have been told only God and the church have this power and it has become ingrained within us to suppress any psychic abilities. At least that is what my avatar told me :)

I believe it exists to some extent. I don't think someone can take over your mind or anything but that there are people who are more in tune with the spiritual world. I think that some people are more predisposed to being psychic even if they only call it intuition. It's like a little voice inside you telling you things.

I think it's possible. We have much more brain than we actually ever use. I'm not sure that if you don't have the ability that it can be learned. But some people have stronger intuition than others, so I guess you never know.
On another note, I think 99.99% of the people who claim to be psychic are not, they're scam artists.

i believe in psychic ability ... but this is not mind reading nor can anyone take over your mind
your mind is yours and no one elses
i understand that some people may be easily influenced by others and be led to believe that they are in some way affecting their own thinking .. but this is not so
i believe the mind is a very powerful tool and have witnessed and studied all sorts of paranormal feats... telekensis , aura reading , pyrokenesis etc

I beleave ther can be telepathy between twins or close family members but I do not beleave any one can take control of your mind unless through hypnoses
